Founder

Kevin Fidler founded Tivity Labs to bridge the gap between capital, strategy, and execution for high-potential operators in limited-license markets. With deep expertise in strategy, financial modeling, and business operations, he ensures that Tivity Labs’ portfolio companies are ready to compete and win in adult-use markets. Before launching Tivity Labs, Kevin led global consulting and software sales teams, driving multi-million-dollar cloud and innovation deals across multiple industries. His diverse background in sales, marketing, enterprise software, and procurement.

Kevin holds a Master Business Administration from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University.

Nick Young

Revenue Operations

As a Professor of Cannabis Marketing at Western Michigan University, Nick mentors tomorrow’s CPG leaders in the cannabis industry with his wealth of operational cannabis business experience. His advanced marketing courses give students tools and real-world skills in brand identity and product development, consumer insights, and customer acquisition strategies. Nick’s team has led design and buildout for processors, deploying various extraction and post processing business units. Along with systems implementation at rapidly growing brands, Nick’s team is responsible for the design of the Midwest’s largest cannabis distillery. Previously he served as CEO of Krystilion for five years and oversaw custom infused product development, private labeling and brand development.

Nick is currently pursuing his PhD in Consumer Packaged Goods and Consumer Behavior.

Legal

Roosevelt J. Donat is a legal strategist and public policy expert specializing in regulatory frameworks, economic development, and cannabis policy. He has played a key role in shaping federal and state cannabis legislation, working with policymakers and industry leaders to promote social equity and business growth. With a background in national political campaigns, fundraising, and investment strategy, Roosevelt has advised on multi-billion-dollar real estate and infrastructure projects. He has been recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyer and included in the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.

Roosevelt holds a J.D. from Rutgers Law School and a  Bachelor of Political Science from  Georgetown University. 

Bill Huber,
Esq.

Legal

With over 23 years of legal experience, Bill Huber is a seasoned attorney specializing in business organizations, corporate transactions, and complex financial structures. His work spans limited partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance. For the past decade, he has focused on the cannabis industry, advising entrepreneurs, startups, and operators across the seed-to-sale lifecycle. He also served as US General Counsel and director of operations at a public multi-state cannabis operator, managing regulatory and commercial challenges. Bill previously founded and successfully exited his own cannabis dispensary, gaining firsthand insight into entrepreneurship and investor expectations.

Bill holds a J.D. from University of Massachusetts School of Law and a Bachelor of Political Science from Dickinson College.

Davis Lang

Cultivation

A Humboldt County native, Davis Lang knows what it takes to scale commercial grows up and down to meet market demand and remain competitive. He has been a cultivator for over 18 years. With extensive knowledge in all facets of growing, Davis has dedicated his career to helping cultivation licensees maximize yields with consistent high-quality harvests. He has comprehensive experience and a deep understanding of horticulture, agriculture, and grow systems. Davis has designed, built, and consulted on numerous successful indoor and outdoor grows on the West Coast. Throughout his career, he has trained dozens of cultivators on cloning, managing lighting and irrigation systems, optimizing harvest and post-harvest operations, and staff planning. In his latest endeavor, Davis led a team that designed and built a 140k square foot cultivation space nestled in the Redwoods of Northern California.

Chinedu Nworu,
PhD, MBA

Investor Relations

Chinedu has built his career at the intersection of science and business, where he’s focused on creating value for shareholders by delivering diagnostic and therapeutic solutions through building and growing strategic partnerships in the Healthcare space. A scientist by trade, his academic research centered on understanding which proteins were essential for early skeletal muscle development. After several publications, he transferred his technical training and project management to the private sector, leading teams in developing several FDA-approved and CE-marked diagnostic tests. In business, Chinedu has helped biotech companies of all sizes identify and maximize value from their partnering opportunities in the health space His passion for social equity and removing socioeconomic barriers continues to drive his career. With Tivity Labs, Chinedu builds bridges between our clients and investors to benefit all stakeholders.

Chinedu holds a PhD in Cellular Molecular Medicine from the University of Arizona, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Delaware.

Jesse Hochstedler,

Jesse Hochstedler brings over a decade of experience in cannabis processing and lab development, with deep expertise in hazardous chemical extraction and pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing. A trained chemical engineer with a passion for flavor science, Jesse has led the buildout of six extraction labs across Michigan and Oregon and specializes in CBG formulation and vape product innovation. Prior to entering the space, he redesigned flavor extraction systems for Wrigley’s global gum operations, sharpening the technical and sensory precision he now applies to terpene-rich concentrates. At Tivity Labs, Jesse leads technical operations for extraction and post-processing, helping clients scale safely and efficiently using hydrocarbon, ethanol, CO₂, and solventless methods.

Jesse holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Western Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Western Michigan University.

Aurelio Trevino

Cultivation & Extraction

Aurelio brings three decades of manufacturing leadership across cannabis, food, and industrial sectors, with a focus on scaling operations, improving yields, and building high-performing teams. His career spans union and non-union environments, from leading plant operations at KraftHeinz and Bimbo Bakeries to managing large-scale cultivation and extraction facilities for Progressive Treatment Solutions and Green Thumb Industries. Aurelio has overseen teams of more than 200 and managed up to $120M in annual cannabis revenue. At Tivity Labs, he applies his deep operational playbook to help clients streamline production, implement safety and compliance protocols, and drive profitability. His expertise in HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and high-performance work systems makes him an invaluable asset to operators preparing for scale.

Brooke Mays is an automation specialist, systems strategist, and integration expert who designs AI-powered workflows that align with how teams actually operate. With more than 20 years of experience across industries, she creates high-impact systems that are intuitive, efficient, and built to scale.

An Air Force veteran, Brooke brings operational discipline and technical precision to every engagement. As a marketing specialist and expert in application and system integration, she connects platforms and processes to reduce friction and improve performance across teams. She also builds educational video content and manages YouTube channels to support onboarding, adoption, and team training. Her work combines strategy, user-focused design, and seamless automation to help businesses run smarter with fewer manual gaps.

Michael Hughes is an 8-year veteran of the United States Army who was deployed to Iraq in 2011. He has served in leadership roles and managed quality and regulatory compliance operations at one of the world’s largest packaged food manufacturers. Michael has helped start-up consumer packaged good companies expand production, obtain registration with the FDA and MDA, develop employee training programs, and implement SOPs. His expertise offers Tivity Labs and our clients a complete understanding of what it takes to produce high-quality consumables that win in the market at scale.

Michael holds a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs for Food Industries from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science from the University of Michigan.

Before joining Tivity Labs, Chris led development and technical teams at a major telecom, managing market intelligence, analytics software, and customer relationship management platforms. His background in sales and opportunity management systems helps businesses streamline transactions, improve forecasting, and scale effectively. Chris is passionate about helping social equity operators compete like larger MSOs by using data to make smarter, faster, and more strategic decisions.

Chris holds a Master of Science, Data Science from Wayne State University, and a Bachelors of Science, Corporate Finance from Wayne State University.
